This trainer is designed to study the  transmission line parameters (A,B,C,D) measurement procedure of a transmission line model  .This set up consists of

  1. AC transmission Line Model
  2. meter set up
  • Two numbers of inductor & Resistor is provided as Short Transmission Line model (40 Km)
  • Two numbers of inductor &  resistor & fixed capacitor is provided as Long Transmission Line model (100 Km)-(For T & PI Network)
  • Three numbers of inductor &  resistor & four numbers of fixed capacitor is provided as Long Transmission Line model (200 Km)- (For T network)
  • Digital AC Voltmeter is provided for sending end voltage (Vs) measurements
  • Digital AC ammeter is provided for sending end current (Is) measurements
  • Digital AC Voltmeter is provided for Receiving end voltage (Vr) measurements
  • Digital AC ammeter is provided for Receiving end current (Ir) measurements
  • One number of Digital Phase Angel meter is provided to measure,Phase angle between Vs & Is,Phase angle between Vs & Vr Phase angle between Vs & Ir,Load side Phase angle.
  • One number 0-24V@2A Variable AC source is provided for transmission line model input .
