This Power Module is designed to study the working principle of 3 phases to 3 phases MATRIX CONVERTER fed induction motor control by using latest IGBT Bi directional switch . An external Digital PWM Controller (like FPGA) can be interfaced to this power module to trigger bi directional IGBT. This power module consists of

 

  • One number of 3 phase supply synchronization Transformer is provided
  • One number of 3 phase ZCD circuit is provided for PWM Generation
  • 18 Number of PWM Isolator ic (6N137) is used to isolate the input PWM signals
  • 18 Number of IGBT Driver IC (IR2112) is used IGBT Gate signal amplification.
  • 18 Number of IGBT @ 1200V , 50A forms Power Circuit
  • IGBT Power circuit AC input and outputs are  terminated by suitable rating banana connectors
  • 3 numbers of Hall effect current sensor @ 25A is provided for 3Ø output AC Current measurement
  • 3 numbers of Hall effect current sensor @ 25A is provided for 3Ø Input AC Current measurement
  • Op-Amp based Signal conditioner circuits are provided in all sensors
  • One number of over current trip circuit is provided for O/C protection
  • One number of 34 pin FRC Connector is provided for PWM input signal input and feed back
  • Banana connectors are provided for 3 phase ac input &output
  • Three number of power inductor @ 10Awith different tapings is provided for input filter circuit
  • Three number of power CAPACITOR with different tapings is provided for input filter circuit
